You hear it first at OhioOutside.com (Tell yer friends, but make up other stuff to tell your competitors.)

Need a little incentive for the first race of the season?!

This just IN: 2:01PM, Thursday, March 19

Your prayers have been answered:

Sierra Nevada, Gods precious gift to mankind and official beer of the 2009 OMBC Series, has indicated there may be an appearance at MW on the 29th" !

If you are a fan, the Sierra Nevada welcome reception will begin immediately AFTER you complete your race, but don't dally too long!
and BEWARE of the large vulture's holding pints and circling/standing near the Sierra Nevada beer tent.

Trail Condition News: If you are planning to pre ride the course this weekend, the MW course is as dry as your mouth will be after that first big climb at MW. "many", not "all", of the course markings are up now too.

There are a few tree's down, maybe 3-4, that may mysteriously disappear sometime before next week's race, thanks to an unusually large dude with an axe and a blue ox named babe, goes by the name of P Bunyan n doesn't like people much. There are also a couple O' water crossings that may receive some "TLC" before next weeks race if the beavers hold up their end of the bargain.

Forgot to use the restroom?! fyi News: The MW camp is closed and that means there is no running water so don't forget to bring your own. If you forget and, as a result, dehydrate and pass out, please pass out NEXT to the trail, not ACROSS it, for the sake of the next rider.

The bad news is that no water means that restrooms/showers are closed too.
The good news is that, if you are an eagle, there is an outhouse within site of the trailhead, accessable by bicycle. Ride around the gate, not into it, cross the covered bridge and follow the camp road to the outhouse. simple. and If there is no TP? Sorry, Your on your own bud.

Cheers from an OMBC.
