National
USA Cycling announced the dates and venues for the 21 events that will comprise its USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Calendars. These three calendars will provide professional and elite-level athletes with racing opportunities in the disciplines of cross-country, downhill and ultra-endurance. Consisting of 10 events in six states, the cross-country calendar will kick off with the US Cup Fontana in Fontana, California on March 27 and will wrap up on September 6.

Ohio
The OMBC has announced a tentative schedule for the Ohio Mountain Bike Championship Series. Beginning April 18th at Mohican Wilderness and ending 12 races later on October 24th, racers will compete for prizes, cash and a chance to race at the Iceman Commeth, the Midwest MTB Regional Championship. Last year our riders placed 2nd behind Wisconsin.

Also in Ohio is the NEO Powers Series in the fall, which is a series that includes 2 time trails, one “Enduro” and two cross-country races. The winners in each category take home choice awards: high end Jamis Bicycle Frame, Chipotle burrito prize pack, Ray's Indoor MTBR Season Pass, custom carbon insoles from Soupcaninsoles, cash.

Also on tap is the Vulture's Knob Series, 5 races at the famous “knob”. All races are Saturday followed by Bonfire, DJ & goodtimes (All racers who race 5 of 5 races elgible to win custom
