A special event for the whole family benefitting area families in need. Participate in either a 5k race or a 1 miles fun walk.
Portage Lakes Fireworks RUN TO THE BEACH 5K is a run/walk with prizes in both running divisions and walking divisions. Awards for top five overall male and female runners.

This race is run exclusively through Hudson Springs park with start and end at Seton Catholic School. The terrain is gravel trail. 5K main event with 1 mile kids run.
The Spring Into Action 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Lorain County Metro Park on the beautiful Bridgeway Trail at Black River Reservation.
5k Run and 1 Mile Walk will begin at 9:30 AM at St. Edward High School. Performance t-shirt to the first 300 entrants. Free food and refreshments for all walkers and runners following the race.
