Vulture's Knob consists of 125 acres along the majestic and mighty Killbuck River in the rolling hills of Wooster Ohio. "The Knob" is considered by some the best single track in northeastern Ohio.
Amenities at the knob are what you would expect out in the middle of no-where. There is a port-a-pot and that is about it, bring your own water and such, parking is unlimited.
When arriving the folks at "The Knob" simply asks that you head to the pavilion, sign a release form and make a small donation to help with the growing expenses of a privately owned trail system.
The 5-mile loop is very technical with tons and tons of tight single-track, rocks, roots and most of the time in great shape. If you are looking for a place to hone your skills then “The Knob” would be a great choice. As soon as we get back out to ride it again, we’ll give you a more detailed description.
The course is rated intermediate to advanced and you have to keep in mind this trail was created to be difficult.
Right down the road is tons of food including pizza, fast food and sit down restaurants.
* The area is open to hunters during hunting season, so please check for updates and trail closures.
