Sierra Designs Kenosha Nano Jacket

The Kenosha™ Nano Jacket is your take anywhere piece of gear when you’re looking for ultra light weight, a wind barrier and maximum water repellency. You can also layer the jacket over a fleece or any base layer to cut the wind and add warmth. Also great for throwing on after a workout, ride or run to help take off that post run "chill". For those of you that travel by car to get to your destination - it works great to protect your car seat from soaking up the sweat that’s oozing from your base layers post-workout.

The jacket stuffs into its own hand pocket and is perfect for light day hikes, riding and warm weather travel. It is also small and light enough to fit into a jersey pocket while out on the road or mountain bike. Granted you won't look like Team Radio Shack riding down the road, but then that Euro look is not for everyone.

Light rain, snow and wind will repel off of the Kenosha Nano Jacket, keeping you dry and warm. We never experienced any massive rain storms but I won’t complain about that. Of course, when you get something that is wind and water repellent you are going to loose some breathability. My suggestion for the Kenosha is to ride, hike, explore and enjoy but hold off taking it on the log runs. It is definitely designed for lighter activities.

We rode, ran, hiked and casually wore the Kenosha Nano Jacket and put it through the test. Bushes, thorns and a 2 year old puppy that loves to jump, and it came out relatively snag free.
