The third annual Physician’s Free Clinic 5K Run will help raise money that will be used to support the Physicians Free Clinic (http://www.goodhealthcolumbus.org/pfc). Since its beginning in 1993 the free clinic has provided FREE health care to more than 30,000 Franklin County residents. The Physicians Free Clinic is run completely by volunteers. Doctors, medical students, nursing students, physical therapy students, language students, and many volunteers from the community at large all contribute to the clinic’s success. In this time of rising health care costs and a deteriorating economy, there is an unprecedented need for free and reduced cost care.

The Physician’s Free Clinic 5K Run promises to be an exhilarating event. Not only will it boost the cardiovascular health of our community it will also inspire the hearts of many. The moderate distance around OSU’s scenic campus allows entire families to participate. T-shirts, refreshments, raffles, and medals will all be part of the race.
