The Physicians Free Clinic (PFC) is operated by Physicians Care Connection, an affiliate of the Columbus Medical Association. Physicians Care Connection is the largest coordinator of voluntary health care services for the vulnerable population of uninsured or underinsured individuals in Central Ohio, with 13 participating hospitals, over 1,000 health care professional volunteers, and over 200 community volunteers. Each year, the OSUCOM Chapter of the American Medical Association hosts a 5K Fun Run with all proceeds benefitting the Physicians Free Clinic. The 5th Annual Physicians Free Clinic 5K Fun Run will be hosted on OSU's campus on Sunday, April 15, 2012. The race will begin on the RPAC West Walkway in between the RPAC and the Ohio Stadium. Come support the PFC this spring!
