The proceeds from the event benefit Mennonite Central Committee and Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio. The course starts on the fairground horse track and takes runners out into the country where it loops around and finishes on the track. After the race stick around and enjoy the food, browse the items for sale and take in the activities of the Black Swamp Benefit Bazaar.
