Join us for the 9th Annual Bowman Cup 5k Race on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. The race, named after former Kent State University (KSU) President, Dr. George Bowman, will be held at 8:30 a.m., following the second annual 1-Mile Walk & Roll that is to begin at 8 a.m.

For the second year in a row, the 2009 Bowman Cup stands as the “Race for Ability,” aimed at encouraging people of ALL ability levels to participate. The Department of Recreational Services and Student Accessibility Services have again joined forces this year to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the resources they need to compete with everyone else.
