Don’t just see Holiday in Lights…experience it during the first-ever Holiday in Lights 5k Run/Walk through beautiful Sharon Woods! For the first time in Holiday in Lights’ 18-year history, visitors can enjoy the thousands of festive lights and displays…all on foot! This year’s 5k Run/Walk is Sunday, November 22 starting at 5:00 p.m. with post race food and fun!

The race is a USATF certified 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk that also includes a non-competitive 2-mile option for those who want to take a leisurely stroll with the family. Both courses wind through scenic Sharon Woods with the start and finish line near Sharon Centre. The 5k will travel along the Holiday in Lights route twice, while the 2-mile option will go through once. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Runners and the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Walkers. Post race activities include food and fun in a heated tent near Sharon Centre.

Pre-registration is $25.00 ($20.00 for kids 12 and under) and can be made online at getmeregistered.com before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 19. Race day registration is $30.00 ($25.00 for kids 12 and under) and begins at 3:30 p.m. at the Sharon Woods Training Center (adjacent to the Sharon Centre) where packets can be picked up as well.

Proceeds from the Holiday in Lights 5k Run/Walk benefit the Hamilton County Parks Foundation and the City of Sharonville Christmas Fund.
