Another fine-looking digital print by Boneshaker’s long-time collaborator, Adams Carvalho
Printed on 250 gsm (92 lb. cover) textured Tinteretto Gesso paper stock, lovingly printed by Rik at Ripe Digital in great Britain and hand-embossed with the Boneshaker embosser.
Star of the opening feature in Boneshaker issue 15, Tommy Godwin is a long-distance cycling legend. Way back in 1939, he rode an astonishing 75,065 miles – an average of 205 miles per day, every day. His first bike had three gears, the second had 4. Not content with beating the ‘year record’, Tommy didn’t stop when the year was up, but carried on until he’d beaten the 100,000-mile record too, reaching his target after 532 days of astonishing effort. Tommy’s Year Record remains unbroken to this day.
Partly because all the photos of Tommy were so old and hard to access in print-ready form, BONESHAKER Magazine commissioned illustrator Samuel James Hunt to draw this portrait. His pencil work was so beautiful they thought it worthy of reproduction as a print.

These are good looking prints, they would be perfect for my bike room and man cave, or I mean bike cave.
