Extra Climbing Added to the Salt Fork Spring Challenge Course

April 1st Course Update:  Ohio Outside LLC, proud promoters of the Salt Fork Spring Challenge, have re-routed the course for the Spring of 2016 and added an extra 6,500 feet of climbing along with a quarter mile swim section that crosses a portion of the Salt Fork lake.

This was not a planned re-route of the course, but necessary as a result of the increasing population in the groundhog village that has left thousands of holes along a portion of the trail. As a company, we feel that these holes could be dangerous to the runners and the horses that patrol this portion of the course. Swimming to avoid this section of the trail is a safer solution. As for the climbing, we thought it would be a good idea to add some additional climbing in order to bring body temperatures back up after exiting the freezing cold water.

To help celebrate this course change, we are offering $5.00 off any entry. Use promo code “APRILFOOL” when registering.
