Wednesday through Friday I’ll be riding and bikepacking on the Gap Trail and C&O Canal Trail from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. This three day ride will cover over 100 miles a day and crosses the Eastern Continental Divide. Daily updates will be posted on the trip with photos and more but for now here is a peak at our gear selection that I’ll have aboard my SRAM 1x equipped Moots Psychlo X cross bike.

Since the route of the GAP and C&O Canal Trail pass numerous towns I am opting out of packing a stove, cookwear, food and such and will stop on a daily basis and grab food towards the end of each day.
I’ll have two 24 ounce bottles on board that I can refill every 2 to 3 hours.
