If you are a cycling fan then you’ve heard of the horrible crash in the third stage of the Tour de France that brought the race to a temporary halt. The crash has been called one of the worst in the history of the race, even forcing yellow jersey leader Fabian Cancellara to withdraw from the event with two broken vertebrae.
