Salt Fork Spring Challenge is Cancelled

Ohio Outside regretfully must announce the cancellation of the 2020 Salt Fork Spring Challenge scheduled for April 25th, 2020. This decision was made for many reasons: helping do our part to control the COVID-19 outbreak, Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) currently not allowing permits in the park and the posted closure of Salt Fork Lodge through May 1st. We still encourage athletes to workout, run, ride and be healthy while following all social distancing practices and guidelines by the CDC.

Ohio Outside is offering refunds for the Salt Fork Spring Challenge:

Ohio Outside is offering refunds for the Salt Fork Spring Challenge minus the RunSignUp processing fees.  All refunds must be requested by the participant via RunSignUp at the link below and by April 15, 2020. We are doing it this way to ensure everyone is aware of the cancellation and we can track it. We will not be offering a rollover to the fall race.  Due to scheduling conflicts with the park, we are unable to reschedule the race. If you registered for the race, you will be receiving an email with directions to request a refund. Questions can be directed to info@ohiooutside.com.

ALL REFUNDS MUST BE REQUESTED BY APRIL 15th.

Message from the Salt Fork Lodge:

All participants that reserved rooms at the Salt Fork Lodge will be responsible for canceling their own room reservations and other travel accommodations.

Message from Salt Fork State Park:

Due to ODNR closing all Ohio State Parks we will need to cancel your April 25th Spring Challenge Race due to the COVID-19 virus crisis.   As of Thursday 3/19/20 our Lodge facilities will be closed with plans to re-open May 1, 2020.  There will be a skeleton crew of managers working to field calls and take future reservations so we can recover from this crisis as soon as the smoke clears.
