Founder of Ohio Outside and still runs the day to day operations, working events, gathering articles, doing product reviews, training for races, sampling great beers and even has the honor of picking up after Emma Doodles. He claims his life life could not be any better. His favorite race is the 24 Hours of Canaan loves to split his time between mountain biking and trail running. Former Team USA Duathlon Member, Elite Mountain Biker and Triathlete.

She possesses organizational skills that would drive most men nuts. Dawn heads up a lot of the small details that are overlooked. With a degree in recreational management from Ohio University her education is finally being put to use. Out at our events you'll most ofter see her working registration or making sure the finish line area running smoothly.

Laney Kerstetter is an avid trail runner, ultra runner and outdoor enthusiast. When she is not running the trails, she enjoys outdoor photography, hiking, and camping with her family.  Laney is a certified personal fitness trainer and recently completed her first 50 mile race.  She has also completed several triathlons and hopes to compete in her first Half Ironman in the Fall of 2015. She grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and now resides in Augusta, Georgia. She is  wife to an amazing husband and the mother of two beautiful children. Running is her passion and her love of the sport took root in the Cuyahoga Valley National Parks. Laney loves to explore new trails and enjoy nature, as she strives towards new distance running goals and to share her passion for trail running with others.

You'll find Brian out on the trail putting in some hard fast miles. Brian ran XC & track collegiality at Mount Union for 4 years and graduated with a degree in political science. Brian is usually a top level finisher in most races including ultras where in 2012 he was the  6th place finisher at the BuckeyeTrail 50K. Brian's theory on trails is "The more challenging the trail the better it is" ...  maybe that is why he likes the Salt Fork Trail Challenge so much. Brian is also a craft beer drinker & home brewing enthusiast.  You can find him on Twitter and Untapped.

What more can you say about this ball of lovable fur. She cleans the floors, the faces of small children, does product reviews, will chew test a dirty pair of running socks and has a bag of dog food delivered to the office every 6 weeks.

Her favorite event is waiting for the mailman to bring a treat. Her favorite distance to run is the nearest mud puddle or stagnate bit of water. She cross trains by digging holes in the yard.
